Hakone Kamon, Hakone

The kaiseki meal was an absolute highlight of our stay! The lobster and abalone were perfectly prepared, and we couldn't believe the variety and quantity of food we enjoyed. By the end of the meal, we were completely satisfied and yearning for more. Not to mention, the traditional breakfast was one of my favorite meals in Japan. Eating such wholesome, delicious food set a fantastic tone for our days. I highly recommend trying the local cuisine here.

The hot springs at Hakone Kamon were a true retreat. With several different bathing pools available, I felt relaxed and rejuvenated after spending time in both indoor and outdoor baths. It was never too crowded, which allowed me to enjoy a peaceful soak in the serene environment. I especially loved sitting on the deck at the foot bath-such a lovely way to unwind!

Having a private bath in our room was a good feature. It provided us with the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing soak in privacy. Mixing this with access to the public baths left me feeling pampered throughout our stay. The bathing experiences truly added to the authentic ryokan experience.

Our room was beautifully decorated in a traditional style with tatami mats and sliding doors. It felt like stepping into another world, one that really captured the essence of Japan. The spaciousness and comfort of the room made our stay incredibly enjoyable. I loved the authentic atmosphere that added to the entire experience of staying in a ryokan.
